Confluence + Connections

Bettina Ammann, Meg Dickerson and Barbara Stauffer make work profoundly shaped by shared time in UMass Dartmouth’s post-baccalaureate ceramics program. Each takes a different approach - whether by celebrating the biological resilience, exploring leftover fragments, or meditating on discomfort - to reveal the vulnerabliity embedded in our relationships, the quiet persistence of organic forces and the haunting traces of systems once thought permanent. Yet together, their voices form a compelling meditation on human fortitude, collapse, and the blurred boundaries between human, natural and constructed worlds.
